Plot

A world just like our own, (or America's anyway), but where super heroes are an every day part of life. The Specials just scrape into the top ten hero groups, but when their attempt to market themselves turns into a farce they begin to bicker, and soon they are in danger of going there separate ways. The Specials is a sought of satire on the whole super hero thing, but perversely it goes for the sought of angle that seems to believe that such creatures actually exist, what results is a turgid comedy revolving around a few uninteresting people and a weak attempt to have a go at the evil that is corporate marketing. Watch Mystery Men and actually have a laugh.
