Elle is a blonde California babe who has it all. Her life has been devoted to the pursuit and study of what to wear and how to look, everyone loves her, and her parents are even proud of her devotion to a life that focuses its entire being on vacuous indulgence; but when her boyfriend dumps her, on the eve of his move to Harvard Law School, Elle's life teeters dangerously on the edge of being 'not quite perfect'. Determined to get her man back the feisty young thing enrols at Harvard herself, but it's a pretty harsh culture shock, and her priorities begin to undergo a radical makeover. 'Legally Blonde' is a very funny, fluffy comedy, helped considerably by the able Witherspoon.
