Joe is searching for the family he has lost and on his trawl through America's lowest life he meets many a weirdo, not least of which is a psychotic cannibal. Finally reaching LA Joe becomes the ridiculed side-kick of a shock-jock DJ, but with the radio listeners increasingly on his side Joe begins to see his opportunities broaden. Joe Dirt comes from the same team who brought you Big Daddy and Duece Bigalow, so if you like your humour still waiting for arms to grow before it can negotiate the first rung of the evolutionary ladder, then this is the guppy.
