Three men, all obsessed by the same woman, each convinced that they and they alone have what she needs, and each, obviously, completely deluded. Liv Tyler is excellent as the preposterously sexual vamp at the centre of the mens attentions and there's a nice little turn from Michael Douglas as a sleazy hitman. One Night At McCool's is a nicely drawn black comedy, which wisely focuses on having a laugh rather than a clever point.
