A documentary team go deep into the South American jungle to make a film about cannibalism, few I expect will be shocked to learn that they don't return, but a search team is sent to their last known location nonetheless; what they discover is a savagely unconventional picnic in the woods. Banned in this country for nearly 20 years Cannibal Holocaust is a classic example of 'nothing left to the imagination' horror; exploitative, a bit crap and preposterously gruesome, you'll never look at your friends entrails in the same way again.
