Woody Allen scripted this a long time ago as a satire on womanising, although director Donner seems to have seen it as more of a morality farce. The O'Toole character, based on Warren Beatty, visits camp shrink Sellers, who seems more intent on imitating him. Schneider, Prentiss, Andress, and Capucine play some of the conquests in this classic comedy.
