Set during the 1980's in Belfast, we follow two uneasy business partners, one Catholic the other Protestant, as they attempt to corner the lucrative market in hairpieces with the help of a dangerously unstable wig salesman. An Everlasting Piece is a valiant attempt at offbeat but socially aware British comedy by the director Barry Levinson, better known for movies such as 'Rain Man' and 'Good Morning Vietnam'; Can't say he really hits the spot but the film is not without charm.
