Plot
The death of his father brings Luo back to his home village where his mother, much to the consternation of the mayor, is insisting upon a traditional burial. His mother's determination causes Luo to recall the stories he heard as a child about his parents remarkable courtship and through flashback we return to the time of their youth. The Road Home is a visually ravishing story of love and partnership.
