Plot
A reenactment of a real life conversation between two friends, the playwright-actor Wallace Shawn and director-playwright Andre Gregory. Andre has recently returned from a worldwide spiritual quest and as the two talk it is left to Wallace to reign in his friend's flights of fancy, injecting a sobering scepticism to Andre's fluffier musings. "My Dinner With Andre" is fascinating and absorbing.
