Plot

A crook born to failure and a wife tired of it, agree on one last stab at the big score. The plan? to tunnel into a bank using a cookie store run by her as the cover and aided by a gaggle of fellow criminals so cerebrally challenged just walking requires every ounce of their concentration. Small Time Crooks is a return to Woody Allen's earlier films where comic farce is never upstaged by his trade mark neurotic angst; No doubt a welcome, and long awaited, return for many.
