Paul Tannek is a country boy who has just moved to New York to start college, but what should be a bright new beginning is turning into a nightmare as his easy going and kind hearted nature is gradually ground down by his three hard partying roommates, none of whom feel the need to disguise their contempt for the slightly geeky Paul. Into this world of misery comes Dora, a caring, sweet natured, but streetwise, fellow student and Paul is smitten. Loser is a good hearted romantic comedy, with some sharp lines and spot on casting.
