Plot
Claire has an idilic life, she lives in a beautiful house, she has a loving and successful husband, but she is haunted by increasingly violent and disturbing apparitions, is she loosing her mind or are dark forces really at work? What Lies Beneath is a supernatural thriller Hollywood style, in that it steals from just about everywhere and then glues it all together with a couple of major league movie stars. Manipulative and cliched, it cynically goes through the paces and is far more entertaining than it deserves.
