Young Jimmy Grimble desperately wants to become a football star but has a serious lack of faith in his own abilities, however, when an old bag lady gives him a pair of magic boots Jimmy finds his confidence on the pitch and begins to perform nothing short of miracles; but as the school cup final approaches his boots go missing. Is it the magic daps or is Jimmy just seriously talented? There's only one Jimmy Grimble is an enjoyable feelgood British drama and easily as entertaining as the curiously successful Billy Elliot.
