Tex, a kosher butcher, has just murdered his wife in a jealous rage, but in the process of disposing her body he looses her hand. An old blind lady trips over the missing limb, bangs her head and regains her sight; this miracle soon has thousands flocking to the local church in the hope that the severed hand can also cure them, much to the consternation of Tex and various other sceptical members of the community
