What makes a marriage work? After two kids and fifteen years of marriage, Katie (a despondent Pfeiffer) and Ben (Willis) realise they no longer love each other. While their kids are away at summer camp they agree to a trial separation, during which they relive the highs and lows of their relationship and eventually find the answer they're looking for.
