Not so much a sequel as a financial opportunity realised just before it was too late. A young stable lad (Masterson) discovers the world's last living dragon. Eager to realise his dream of becoming a knight, dragon and boy embark on a series of quests to right the wrongs within their land. In the process however they come ever closer to a hidden danger that threatens to overwhelm them. Though the special effects are still very good "A New Beginning" has settled firmly for the children's market and as such is an enjoyable action, adventure.
