Bobby Baton works for the Boston mob, unfortunately he has been helping himself to more than his fair share of the cut. Not well chuffed with his unauthorised withdrawls the mafia put out a "hit" on him. Left with no other options Bobby turns himself and his family into the FBI, grassing up his old boss in exchange for the witness protection program. This story is as much a domestic drama as it is thriller, effectively charting the collapse of a family, bewildered and terrified by their sudden change in fortune. The performances are excellent and there's a constant claustrophobic intensity, as the main characters find themselves trapped by their attempt to dodge mafia justice. Well worth a watch, absorbing and powerful.
