Psychological thriller from the director of "Phenomenon", starring Anthony Hopkins as a brilliant but deranged mass murderer. (Sounds familiar?) Incarcerated in a prison for the criminally insane after the murder of several park rangers, the former anthropologist and primate expert is visited by eager young psychiatrist Theo Caulder (Cuba Gooding Jr). Driven by ambition, the idealistic young shrink is determined to unravel the mysteries of his subject's mind, even if that means putting his own life on the line, which it very well might.
