UNDERSTANDING JANE (1999)

Plot
Two very laddish lads meet a couple of girls through a lonely hearts ad, get ripped off and plan their revenge. However two of the quartet rather like each other and begin a tentative, troubled relationship. Despite the downbeat pretensions, this is actually a fairly conventional romance, though the story is told from a rather male point of view, with solid performances and some good laughs.
