Plot

A genuinely heartwarming rom-com, with Drew Barrymore as geeky, 25 year old journalist Josie, who's still waiting for a decent break, and her first kiss! Sent on an undercover writing job as a seventeen year old schoolgirl, Josie naturally befriends the school swot, but is swiftly ordered to pal up with the rich bitch brigade. So dumping her new friends, Josie sets to work transforming herself into a teen queen, and finds she's rather good at it. So good, in fact, that she may even get her first proper snog. Despite the inevitable Stateside morality message this is still a winner, mainly due to its snappy script and irresistably endearing leading lady.
