Daniel Auteil (La Reine Margot, Le Bossu) makes his English language debut in this London based thriller. Xavier Lombard (Auteuil) is a disgraced ex-gendarme, supposedly working as a private dick in the capital, where he seems to do not very much at all except smoke a lot. But when he agrees to help find Nastassja Kinski's missing drug-addicted brother, he's suddenly plunged into the sordid world of child prostitution, amongst other horrors. Hard-hitting stuff, though some may find the treatment of the subject matter objectionable.
