Made in 1942 'Listen to Britain' weaves words, music and images together to produce a paean to this 'precious stone set in the silver sea'. It is a vision that is optimistic, uplifting and intended as pure propaganda for a country in the midst of war. Listen to Britain was an interesting experimental oddity in its time; today it is a fascinating historical document, albeit still an odd one.
