DreamWorks takes on Disney with this big-budget animated version of the story of Moses. Visually sumptuous, with mostly impressive animation, it's actually quite a dark and often violent film, and may even prove disturbing for more sensitive little uns. Personally I found the absence of cute comedy animals a blessing, but it has to be said that the songs are truly, truly dreadful.
