Ol' blue eyes Gibson comes over all nasty in this rehash of 60s classic "Point Blank", playing ice-cold criminal Porter, and makes a damn fine job of it. Double-crossed and left for dead by his partner-in-crime Val (Gregg Henry), who takes both his money and his wife, Porter is inflamed with new and improved ruthlessness. It's payback time, and it's gonna be messy! Gibson is a believable baddie, but charismatic as ever, in this cracking, ass-kicking actioner.
