A premiere feature from the TV series, in which Buffy has started a new school and vowed to put her vampire-slaying days behind her. But lo and behold, her first day at Sunnydale High goes all pear-shaped when a student is found dead in a locker. Spotting those tell-tale teeth marks on his neck, Buffy realises that her work is only just beginning. Helped by her watcher, Mr Giles the school librarian, Buffy must start the tedious business of preventing the Master Vampire from embarking on his once-a-century earthly visit.
