BABE PIG IN THE CITY (1999)
GEORGE MILLAR
Plot
George Miller's sequel to the hugely successful "Babe" is an altogether darker affair than its enchanting predecessor, shifting the action from the idyllic countryside to a composite big city. With Farmer Hoggett being hospitalised in the first ten minutes, Babe takes off to the State Fair with Mrs Hoggett, Ferdinand the duck and the singing mice, hoping to solve the farm's financial crisis. Instead they fall in with a bizarre assortment of townie animals, including a sleazy family of performing chimps. Darkly funny with excellent special effects.
