Plot

Joey and Ross try to break a record in "The One With the Ball", while Rachel achieves her childhood dream of buying a Sphinx cat, which sadly turns out to be particularly vicious. In "The One With Joey's Big Break", Joey lands the lead role in a movie, but when Chandler accompanies him to Las Vegas he gets thrown out of the car for casting doubts on Joey's big break. In the double length episode "The One in Vegas", Joey resorts, secretly, to working as a casino gladiator when his movie falls through, but back in New York the Friends decide to pay him a surprise visit. While Ross and Rachel arrive at the casino in a drunken mess, Chandler and Monica make a serious wager about marriage.
