Jude Law stars in this seductive thriller as a rich and handsome ladykiller. Charming, secretive and with supernatural charms, Stephen Griscz (Law) seems too good to be true (always the case some may say!). So when Inspector Healey (played by Timothy Spall) uncovers the body of his girlfriend, he gets suspicious of this all too perfect man and discovers a nasty underbelly. An unusual film with potential to be a good supernatural thriller. Unfortunately though, it loses momentum half-way and the result is somewhat unsatisfying.
