Plot
Downbeat depiction of teenage prostitution on the streets of London. Stella (Kelly MacDonald - "Trainspotting") is firmly entrenched in a twilight world of vice, dependent on the dosh and her manipulative pimp (James Bolam), but half-heartedly hoping to break free from the seedy, violent world she inhabits. Disturbing, powerful and thought-provoking, but while MacDonald puts in an excellent performance, it has to be said that she looks too healthy and wholesome by far.
