Plot

Darryl Zero (the excellent Bill Pullman) is a private investigator, who, whilst undeniably inspired, is utterly eccentric and totally unable to deal with the world at large and who employs sidekick Ben Stiller as his frontman. Taking on the mysterious 'Case of the Missing Keys', on behalf of evasive tycoon Ryan O'Neal, the usually reclusive Zero is completely flummoxed when he unexpectedly falls head over heels for 'The Dame', their prime suspect.
