Every year the mice must leave the field before ploughing time. This year though one mouse is too sick to move and Ms Brisby, a single parent, must enlist help. Aided by a crackpot crow, a pompous shrew and a great wise owl she sets off into an adventurous world, including the dreaded N.I.M.H. where the ever menacing rats have harnessed their own electricity supply...
