Plot

Gripping 'hood thriller with James Belushi and the late Tupac Shakur (in the last role before his murder) as two bad-ass detectives who've hit on the perfect scam. While Belushi's glamorous girlfriend acts as the bait in a bogus drug deal, a drive-by shooting enables the corrupt cops to snatch the dead dealer's cash without fear of exposure. As far as the paperwork goes, the murder is obviously gang-related, and, therefore, solved. But the pair start to sweat when they unwittingly kill an undercover DEA agent, and decide to find someone to frame for their crime. Superior and streetwise.
