Plot
The name may be the same, but sadly this has little in common with the original "Stargate". Kurt Russell and James Spader are missing, for a start, and the special FX budget has obviously been drastically cut. Basically this is made-for-TV sci-fi which, with a plotline authorising nine teams to investigate a plethora of Stargates in the future, provides a pilot for the forthcoming telly series.
