Plot

Engrossing drama with Peter Fonda as Ulysses Jackson, Vietnam vet and the only survivor of his unit. Now living an almost reclusive existence as a Florida beekeeper with only his two young granddaughters for company, Ulee's life is shaken up when his bad-apple son phones to say the girls' junkie mother has unexpectedly reappeared. Fonda plays his "grumpy old man" role to perfection in a refreshingly unpredictable tale.
