Plot

Tom Hanks stars as Ray Peterson, an average joe whose peaceful week off turns dark when someone from his cul-de-sac disappears and he and his neighbours think the new family on the block are the culprits. The Klopek's are a strange bunch and their house is even stranger to the local suburbanites who make it their mission to find the missing man even if it means breaking and entering, digging and excavating. Paranoia abounds, in the vein of Arlington Road, but with poodley dogs, trophy wives and pagan sacrifice dream sequences. Hilariously dark. Might be a bit much for the young 'uns.
