Plot

Sonny Steele used to be a rodeo star, but his next appearance is to be on a Las Vegas stage, wearing a suit covered in lights, advertising a breakfast cereal. One compromise too far sends him galloping back to a life on the prairie. There's nothing new in the story but the real treat in this film is Redford and Fonda's performances, fleshing out watchable and engaging characters seemingly from thin air.
