Marty Starr is a slimey, vindictive and deeply troubled pop manager. Marla Dorland is his pop star creation. Plucked from obscurity and given a more commercially acceptable name, Mavis Davis is now the thorn in his side. If he can eliminate her, then maybe he can save his own skin. After all, sales rocket when a pop star dies and becomes a legend. Good fun.
