Plot

One of the top 3 grossing foreign language films at the British box office of 1997. Max (Vincent Cassel - La Haine) is about to get hitched when he thinks he spies ex-lover Lisa in a Parisian cafe. While he hotfoots it round the city trying to find her, we see in flashback how their stormy affair came to an abrupt end when she scarpered after he suggested they move in together. Finally tracking down the elusive femme, the plot is further complicated by the fact that she's not Lisa at all, but a complete nutter called Alice who's carrying on with Max's best mate. Very French and tres, tres chic.
