The most successful British film ever, with sex thimble Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting) as an unemployed Sheffield steelworker who finds inspiration when he sees the local housewives queuing up to watch The Chippendales. Gathering together a bunch of out of work (and out of shape!) mates, the motley crew set about transforming themselves into gyrating, throbbing hunks of manhood. But first they'll have to pluck up the courage to get undressed with the light on! A hugely entertaining mixture of side-splitting comedy, male angst and cheesy disco music.
