New York cabbie Jerry (Gibson) is a conspiracy nut who can barely step out of his front door without uncovering overwhelming evidence of top secret plots and dastardly deeds in high places. Alice (Roberts), the Justice Department lawyer he's taken a shine to, has him pegged as a harmless crackpot. So when Jerry is kidnapped, tortured and nearly killed, he's got his work cut out convincing her he's stumbled into a real-life, full-on conspiracy.
