Trojan Eddy is a bit-piece hustler in a small Irish town and in hock to a settled local tinker boss who is about to wed a lass one third his age. Unfortunately she runs off, on the wedding night, with both the dowry and the tinker's nephew who happens to be Eddie's workmate. Ace Irish humour.
