Excellent adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's novel. A patriotic American playwright is asked to pose as a Nazi sympathiser during WW2, broadcasting weekly coded messages to the allies on German radio, and basking in his fame. But with the end of the war comes his return to America..... and retribution.
