An unemployed actor directs an unlikely group, a shortsighted well-meaning space cadet, a`cynical old man with a sharp tongue and a catalogue of prejudices, a flamboyant gay theatrical, an uptight self-righteous git, an alcoholic, an ambitious techie and a new-age set designer in an English church's Xmas charity production of "Hamlet."
