Based on the stage play, Weaver plays a traumatised torture victim living in isolation with her husband in an unnamed Latin American state. Alleging that chance visitor Kingsley was her gaoler she proceeds, despite his denials, to kidnap and try him. Does she really know the truth? Top-notch drama.
