Plot
An epic in all senses of the word, DeMille's definitive version with cast and extras outnumbering the population of some small European countries. Accuracy is not high on the list of priorities in this wonderfully chintzy and hokey Biblical epic, once described as the only film in which the hero had bigger tits than the heroine. Mature and Lamarr star, with great camp performances from Sanders and Lansbury and glorious papier-maché sets. Fab, and oh what a spectacle!
