Judy Davis is excellent as the bawdy authoress George Sand, whose celebrated exploits are captured in excellent style in this film. It tells of how she amorously pursues Chopin (Grant), one of the premiere composers of the time, and eventually wins his heart. A tender and funny story with some witty dialogue.
