Bigger and more action packed than the first of the modern Batman interpretations, but with less character exploration and with a somewhat simplistic plot. If you're after big stars in silly costumes, a great Gothic backdrop and FX then this is your movie, but if you want something more it's disappointing compared to some of its successors. Pfeiffer is the neurotic secretary-cum-feline femme fatale Catwoman, DeVito the Penguin and Walken the corrupt businessman Shreck. Keaton, of course, is the man in tights.
