A Hollywood screenwriter has settled quite comfortably into the disgruntled dissatisfaction of mid-life crisis, while his long-suffering girlfriend is increasingly tempted to go out on the prowl. But he's forced out of inertia by the arrival of his star-struck, loud-mouthed, long-lost daughter.
