Plot
During WW2 Jock Sinclair has risen through the ranks to be acting Colonel and in charge of his Highland regiment. After the war is finished he finds that a new commander, Eton and Oxford educated Colonel Basil Barrow, will take over. The film examines the clashs of class and personality that result, leading to a dramatic climax. A vital exploration of the military mind.
