A humble shoeshiner agrees to stand in for the local mafia boss (his lookalike) on a murder rap in return for a payoff when he leaves prison. But on his last weekend he is mistaken by the mafia themselves. A film about trust and friendship with the neat twists you'd expect from David Mamet.
